Terms of Service

These terms apply when you hire me, Jasmin Casumpang, to set up or look after an online store. Your written quote and these terms together make up our agreement. If the two ever disagree, the quote wins.

1. Who you’re working with

I’m Jasmin Casumpang, a self-employed professional registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in the Philippines, trading under my own name. You can reach me at jasmin@jasmincasumpang.com.

2. Quotes and scope

  • Every project starts with a written quote: what I’ll build, what’s included, the price and the payment schedule.
  • The quote is valid for 14 days. The price is fixed once you pay the deposit.
  • Anything not listed in the quote is outside the scope. If you’d like something extra, I’ll quote it separately before I start on it.

3. Prices and currency

  • Prices on my website are in US dollars so they’re easy to compare.
  • I invoice in your own currency (AUD, NZD, CAD, GBP or USD). The exchange rate is fixed on the day I send your quote and doesn’t change for the rest of the project.
  • You pay me through a Wise invoice. Paying into my local account details for your currency usually costs you nothing. If your bank does charge a fee to send the payment, that fee is yours.
  • My prices don’t include any taxes or charges that apply in your own country.

4. Store setup payments

The store setup is paid in three parts.

PaymentShareWhen it’s due
1. Deposit40%When you accept the quote. I start work once it clears.
2. Launch40%When your store is ready to launch (see below).
3. Final20%14 days after launch, at the end of the support period.

“Ready to launch” means your store is built as quoted, and a test order goes all the way through checkout, from adding to cart to the order confirmation.

  • Approval by Stripe, Afterpay, Klarna or any other payment provider is up to them, not me. Waiting on an approval doesn’t delay this payment.
  • If I’m waiting on you for products, photos, logins or decisions for more than 30 days, the launch payment becomes due anyway, and we’ll finish when you’re ready.

The final payment is due on day 14 after launch. If you’ve told me about a problem that’s still being fixed, it’s due once it’s fixed. If you haven’t reported a problem by day 14, the store is treated as accepted.

5. Add-ons

Claude workflow setup (US$900 one-off): 50% is due with your setup deposit, and 50% when I hand over the workflows and finish your training.

6. Done-for-you admin plans

  • Billed monthly in advance. The first month is due when your store launches.
  • Setting up the Claude workflows is included free with any monthly plan.
  • No lock-in. You can cancel any time before your next billing date, and you won’t be billed again. The month you’ve already paid for isn’t refunded, and I’ll keep running your admin until it ends.
  • If your orders regularly go over your plan’s limit, I’ll let you know and suggest the right plan before anything changes.

7. Invoices and late payment

  • Invoices are due within 7 days.
  • If a payment is overdue, I pause work until it’s paid, and any agreed dates move by the same amount of time. This includes monthly admin.
  • I don’t charge late fees.

8. Support after launch (“fair use support”)

For 14 days after your store launches, I’ll:

  • fix anything I built that doesn’t work as agreed in your quote,
  • answer your questions about running your store, and
  • make small changes to what I built, up to about 2 hours in total.

This support doesn’t include:

  • new features or pages,
  • adding products beyond what was agreed,
  • design changes,
  • problems caused by third parties (your hosting, plugin or theme updates, payment provider rules), or by changes you or someone else makes to the store.

After the 14 days, I can help on an hourly basis or through a monthly plan.

Hourly help is US$125 per hour, billed in 15-minute blocks with a 30-minute minimum (so a quick fix costs US$62.50). I’ll estimate the time before I start, and invoice when the work is done.

9. Cancelling a project

  • If you cancel within 48 hours of paying the deposit and I haven’t started work, I’ll refund the deposit in full.
  • After that, I’ll refund the deposit minus the time I’ve already spent, at the hourly rate above. I’ll send you a breakdown of that time.
  • If you cancel after the launch payment, payments already made aren’t refunded, and I’ll hand over everything built so far.
  • I can also end a project if I’m unable to continue. If I do, I’ll refund the money paid for any work I haven’t done.

10. What you own

  • Your store, domain, hosting, content, customer data, and all accounts (Stripe, payment providers, Claude and the rest) belong to you, and they’re set up in your name.
  • Once everything is paid, you own what I built for your store.
  • I may reuse my general methods, templates and know-how for other clients. I’ll never reuse your content or your customers’ data.
  • I’ll only show your store as an example of my work with your permission, and I’ll only share your store’s data (such as sales or order numbers) if you agree to it.

11. Your responsibilities

  • Send the products, photos, logins and decisions I need in good time.
  • Make sure you have the right to use the content you give me, such as photos, logos and product descriptions.
  • Follow the rules of the services you use, including your payment providers and any marketplaces.
  • Check your tax settings with your accountant. I set them up as you or your accountant confirm, and I don’t give tax advice.

12. Access and privacy

When I need access to your store, I use a limited account and only what the job needs. I treat your customers’ details as confidential. My Privacy Policy explains how I handle personal information.

13. Limits

  • I’ll do the work with care and skill, but I can’t promise sales results, approval by any payment provider or marketplace, or that third-party services will always be available.
  • My total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you’ve paid me for that project. For monthly plans, it’s limited to the last 3 months of fees.
  • Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer laws that can’t be excluded.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. If we disagree about something, we’ll first try to sort it out together in good faith.

15. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. The version that was live when you accepted your quote applies to your project.
