Accessibility Statement

I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, zoom or other assistive technology.

How this website measures up

This website partially conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. “Partially conforms” means most of the website meets the standard, but a few parts don’t fully meet it yet. They’re listed under Known limitations below.

What I’ve done

  • Colour and contrast: text and background colours are checked so body text has a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
  • Keyboard: every page can be used with a keyboard. Links and buttons show a visible outline when they have keyboard focus, and a “Skip to content” link jumps past the menu.
  • Structure: each page has one main heading, headings follow a logical order and pages use proper landmarks, so screen reader users can move around quickly.
  • Images: images have text alternatives, screenshots have captions, and decorative icons are hidden from screen readers.
  • Header and zoom: the header doesn’t stick to the top of the screen, so it never covers what you’re reading or the item you’ve moved to. Pages adapt to small screens and browser zoom without scrolling sideways.
  • Text: fonts are hosted on this website and text can be resized. There’s no flashing content, and nothing plays sound or video by itself.

Known limitations

  • Booking calendar: the calendar on the Contact page is provided by Google, so its accessibility depends on Google. If it’s hard to use, email me and I’ll book a time with you directly.
  • Screenshots: the checkout and email screenshots on the Tres Finds client story show text as images. Their captions and text alternatives describe the main points, and I’m happy to send the details in another format.

How I checked

I tested the website myself on 17 October 2026, using the axe accessibility checker on every page at desktop and phone sizes and checking keyboard use by hand. The automated test found no remaining issues. The website hasn’t been audited by an outside accessibility specialist.
